The qualifying period is from October 1\, 2024 to March 31\, 2026. Eligible events can be found via the Powerlifting United Events Calendar. \nYou can review the Open Division Qualifying Totals here: 2026 Powerlifting United Qualifying Totals \nYouth\, Juniors\, Sub-Masters\, Masters\, Gender Neutral\, and Single Lift categories will have a standard 75kg minimum total requirement. \nThere will NOT be an Open Registration period for the 2026 Powerlifting United Nationals\, and everyone must have a qualifying total within the qualifying period to register. \nPlease verify the weight class you are registering for before submitting your registration. Lifters may move up a weight class before the May 1\, 2026 deadline as long as the qualifying total is met. If a lifter is looking to move down a weight class from what is registered\, you must requalify at a Powerlifting United Sanctioned Event first. The deadline to change your weight class for this competition is May 1\, 2026. \nDO NOT REGISTER IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE A QUALIFYING TOTAL ON OPEN POWERLIFTING. YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE REMOVED\, AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. \nEntry Fees\, Payment Information\, and Refund Policy:\n$195 per lifter (T-shirt included) with a $45 crossover fee for additional events. \nPayment of entry fees will be done via Stripe. \nYou will receive an email confirmation after your payment has been processed. \nThere will be NO REFUNDS for any reason. \nOnce you’ve paid\, you’ll get an email confirmation and see your entry on the Lifting Cast roster. \nOnce the event fills or registration closes one month out (whichever comes sooner)\, we’ll determine which day each lifter will compete and email you a more updated schedule. \nOne week before the event\, we will email you again with more information\, including the session in which you will compete. \nFlights may change all the way up until the night before the event due to lifters not making weight or failing to show up for the event. Missing the weight range of your selected weight class will put you in the guest lifter category\, and you will not be eligible for awards at this event. \nEvent Day Schedule:\nSimilar to the 2025 Powerlifting United National Championships\, we will announce the schedule of events (i.e.\, which weight classes are competing on which days) once the event fills or registration closes one month out (whichever comes sooner). Squats will be performed with a 25kg Squat Bar\, Bench will be performed with a 20kg Power Bar\, and Deadlifts will be performed with a 20kg Deadlift Bar. \nAll squats must be walked out. \nCoach Passes and Team Competitions:\nEach athlete is limited to two (2) Coach Passes. Coach Passes will be $40/day at the door. Each athlete may purchase one (1) early bird coaches pass by adding the item below for $35. NO NEED TO PURCHASE ONE.\n\nTeams should comprise no fewer than 4 and no more than 15 lifters registered under a unified team name. \nA team may include a maximum of three lifters per gender category within the same weight class. \nScoring for teams will be determined by the overall average DOTS coefficient from the team’s top 5 DOTS scores. In instances where a team consists of only 4 or 5 members\, the average DOTS of all team members will be taken into account for scoring. \nTeams should be uniform in terms of the equipment category. This includes Raw\, Raw with Wraps\, or Single Ply. Mixing equipment categories within a team or comparing teams from different equipment categories is not allowed. \nAll team members should register in the open full power category for their scores to contribute towards the team score. However\, crossovers are permissible for individual scoring purposes. \nTeam competition rules are located in the Powerlifting United Standards of Competition book\, located on page 12 Section 1.6 \nAwards:\nAwards will be awarded to the Top-3 placings in the Tested and Untested Divisions for each gender in each weight class\, age group\, division\, and equipment category. \nYouth (10-12)\, Junior (13-23)\, Open\, Sub-Masters (35-39)\, and Masters (40+) Age Categories are eligible for Best Lifter Awards if they have 5 or more athletes registered within the same gender\, division\, and equipment category.
